Our Mission

Behavior Teaching Concepts, LLC strives to provide ethical and quality applied behavior analysis services to individuals on the Autism Spectrum across their lifespan.  Through the use of Applied Behavior Analysis, our goal is to provide individuals with the tools needed to live a fulfilled and independent life.  We aim to provide families, teachers, and caregivers with the skills necessary to support individuals with the development of new skills in all environments.  

At BTC, we envision a world where individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder are embraced as participating members of their community.  We envision an Applied Behavior Analysis Community that puts the individuals we serve at the forefront of services and focuses on creating meaningful change for the individuals, the families, and the communities in which they live.  We envision communities where all individuals, regardless of ability, are able to live fulfilled lives of dignity, independence, and possibility.  BTC strives to be a leader in our community for awareness, advocacy, and access to ABA and autism services.   

Our Team

Megan Matherne Perkins, MA, LBA, BCBA 

Megan, is the founder and clinical director of Behavior Teaching Concepts, LLC in Metairie, Louisiana.  A native of Metairie, she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University.  She completed her study of Behavior Analysis through the University of North Texas.  Megan began her career in Behavior Analysis in 2007, serving individuals with autism in the Greater New Orleans Area.  She has experience in providing services in a variety of settings, including clinics, homes, schools, and the community.  Throughout her career, Megan has supported local non-profit autism agencies and continues her partnerships with these agencies to educate families, schools, and the public about the benefits of Behavior Analysis.   She is passionate about the growth of the field of ABA in Louisiana and serves as a supervisor for individuals pursuing certification from the BACB.  Additionally, Megan serves as the treasurer for the Louisiana Behavior Analysts Association. 


When she is not working, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and son.  She is an avid LSU sports fan, a lover of dogs, and enjoys getting lost in a good book.  

Kevin LeJeune, MEd, LBA, BCBA

Kevin is originally from Lakeland, Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2013.  After graduation, he began working as ABA line technician on the North Shore.  During this time, Kevin received his master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nicholls State University.  Currently Kevin resides on the South Shore and services clients in the school, home, and community setting.
